service hours for school? An adult with time to spend helping a
worth while organization? Well, do we have work for you! The
Housatonic Council needs help with filing, stuffing, mailing, data
entry, shredding old papers, organizing closets and much, much more.

DIRECTIONS
TO COUNCIL SERVICE CENTER
From Southern Connecticut: Take Route
95 to Exit 27 for Route 8 North to Derby. Take Exit 15. At
the end of the ramp make a right on to Route 34 and left at light (Tailgaitors
Restaurant on left and Catholic Church in front). Service Center is
approximately 1/2 mile on left. Building is a brick building.
From Northern Connecticut:
Route 84 to Route 8 South to Exit 15 in Derby. t the end of the ramp
make a right on to Route 34 and left at light (Tailgaitors
Restaurant on left and Catholic Church in front). Service Center is
approximately 1/2 mile on left. Building is a brick building.
Route 34 also comes directly in to
Derby Center.

STRANG
SCOUT RESERVATION
West Side Pond Road, Goshen, CT

Take Route 8 North to Torrington Exit 44. Go to
the second traffic light, this will be route 4. Turn left on
to route 4 for 6 miles to Goshen. At the rotary in Goshen bear
right, this is route 63. Gong north on route 63 take the first
left hand turn. This is West Side Pond Road. The main entrance
to the camp is approximately 1 mile and the first right after the
caretakers residence.
DIRECTIONS TO CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP
Three Saints Church Park,
Bethany
Take Route 8 North to Exit 22. Turn left at stop
sign & bear right on to Route 67 East for 1.8 miles. Turn left
on to Bear Hill Road (blinking light). See sign for Woodhaven
Country Club. You will travel .9 miles to Camp. Pass Woodhaven
Country Club sign, bear left at stop sign following . Turn right at
sign for Three Saints Park. Park in parking lot.
