Awards
“A Scout Is Reverent”
Fall 2009
Heather Shimer will be conducting the
non-denominational religious awards again this year. Scouts and their
siblings are invited to join us (girls and boys).
God & Me-Grades 1-3. It takes 4 sessions to complete each session
is 1 hour. Mentors are suggested.
Dates: October 4, 11, 18 & 25. 1:00-2:00 PM
God & Family-Grades 4-5. It takes 6 sessions, 1 hour each. Faith
& Family compared to pizza. Fun class! The final session is a pizza
party.
Dates: November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & December 6. 1:00-2:00 PM
God & Church-Grades 6-8. It takes 7 sessions, 1 ˝ hours and 1
class project.
Dates: October 4, 11, 18, 25 & Nov 1 & 8, 15. 2:00-3:30 PM
God & Life-Grades 9-12. Required 90 Day Bible reading log and 5
sessions, 1 ˝ hours each.
Dates: 4, 11, 18, 25 & Nov 1 2:00-3:30 PM
Your son will receive the blue religious knot to wear on his uniform as
well, a religious pin and 2 patches from a 4 patch set (my returning
scouts will receive 1 patch). Every child will need a PRAY Workbook. She
already ha s boys signed up for classes. Please let her know if you
would like to join them .
